Interconsequential arises from the notion that no one piece of the installation could exist without the other – the tools used to create one part in turn become material for the steps that follow – as they implicate so they are implicated. Interconsequential might also be read as a metaphor for current sociopolitical climate.
Alison Snowball employs a number of materials and media – including photo, text, paint, and performance – to explore an evolving set of conceptual fascinations – including physics, economics, politics, and mathematics. Snowball holds an MA from OCAD University and lives and works in Toronto.
