Emergent Structures is a video installation by Linda Dervishaj and Victoria Taylor. The duo have woven together hundreds of images captured at Trinity Bellwoods Park, Toronto, during the spring of 2012. Projected at a size that fills the entire *QueenSpecific window, Emergent Structures celebrates changes in form, colour and context during this transcendent phase in the life cycle of trees.

Linda Dervishaj’s work ranges from temporary, site-specific installations to architecture and urban design. Her projects explore scale, form, colour and texture as a response to their surrounding environment. She works with various media across several disciplines, shifting her focus between small details and broad visions. She lives and works in Toronto.

Toronto-based landscape architect, Victoria Taylor, uses an open, creative and collaborative design process informed and inspired by context, ecology, community engagement and social and horticultural possibilities.
